Aliko Dangote – The richest man in Africa with a networth of $11.2 billion (according to forbes) dollars at age 55. He famously started trading commodities 30 years ago with a business loan from his uncle and went on to build a $15 billion dollar empire in the Dangote Group. The group has interests in sugar refineries, flour milling, salt processing and cement plants in Nigeria, Zambia, Senegal, Tanzania and South Africa.
