Mountains of the moon

Also known as Montes Lunae or the  Rwenzori Mountains , The Mountains of the Moon are the third highest mountain in Africa (after Kilimanjaro and Mt. Kenya) and once thought to be the source of water for the Nile. Located on the border between Uganda and the Democratic Republic of the Congo, the highest Rwenzoris are permanently snow-capped, and they, along with Kilimanjaro and Mount Kenya are the only such in Equatorial Africa.
