The Other Africa Project

The other Africa is a photographic project started in 2005 aimed at showing the world and fellow Africans the emergence of Africa’s middle class. The exhibition of images is made up of portraits of African professionals, images of African cities at night and portraits of radio djs. All these images depict a modern side of Africa, steering away from from the negative that is always portrayed of the continent. The ultimate aim of the project is to create a 55 image exhibition, equalling 1 image per African nation. Look in our gallery for some of these images here.
